Hey, I finally got around to trying that recipe you sent me last month. It turned out really well actually. I was a bit skeptical about the combination of ingredients but the flavors worked together nicely. I ended up adding a bit more garlic than called for because you know I love garlic. The whole thing took about an hour to prep and cook but it was worth the effort. I served it with some crusty bread and a simple side salad with a lemon vinaigrette dressing. We had leftovers the next day which were even better after everything melded together overnight in the fridge. Let me know if you have any other recipes you would recommend trying out. I am trying to cook more at home these days instead of ordering takeout so often. It has been a nice change of pace and honestly it feels good to know exactly what is going into my food. Thanks for the update on Saturday plans. I think the timing works for me if we meet around 2 in the afternoon. I will bring that board game I mentioned last week since everyone seemed interested in trying it out. I also thought we could pick up some snacks on the way if that works for everyone in the group. Let me know if anyone has dietary restrictions I should keep in mind when choosing what to bring along. Also, I wanted to ask if you think we should book that place for next month gathering or wait a bit longer to decide together. The early reviews look promising but I know you prefer to wait until more people have tried it before committing to anything.
