Finally saw this this weekend and it's honestly the best thing playing in London right now. It was riveting and poignantly political while still being absolutely stunning. I think it's near perfection. The staging was great and at some points breathtaking like in We Build a Wall. I don't know why they would change much. It felt like such an important show for this point in history and there were so many layers to its meaning, while still being about the timeless mythology.
I also didn't realize that Orpheus & Eurydice wasn't super well known (I studied it in like 6th grade) but the reactions of everyone around me at the end made that clear!
