Your MyLowe's points are set to expire tonight

I finally tried the route you suggested for the park loop, and it was much quieter than the usual trail near my place.
I went earlier than normal, brought some water, and just kept a steady pace instead of trying to cover too much at once.
That ended up being the right move because I actually enjoyed the time outside instead of rushing through it. I noticed a few spots shaded by large trees, and one little clearing had the nicest breeze.
I also remembered what you said about turning around before getting tired, which helped more than I expected. At one point I almost kept going, but then I thought, no, this should stay easy and pleasant, especially since YTr8aWBvTRh I wanted it to feel doable enough to repeat later this week.
Next time I may bring a notebook and sit for a few minutes instead of heading straight home. It felt good to keep things simple.

I meant to reply sooner, but I wanted to try your idea first and see how it actually felt in practice.
I used the shorter setup for the desk and moved the lamp over by the window, and somehow the room immediately seemed calmer and easier to use.
It is strange how one small change can make the whole evening feel less cluttered. I kept the top surface nearly empty, added one plant, and put the extra notebooks away in a drawer.
That finally gave me a space where I could focus without wanting to get up every few minutes. I even finished that reading list I had been putting off, which surprised me, because I assumed I would get distracted again.
The only thing I still need to fix is the chair height, since it feels just slightly off after about an hour. Other than that, your suggestion was solid, and somewhere between tidying up and YTr8aWBvTRh shifting things around, the room became much more comfortable.
