Hey, I finally tried that new Italian place downtown last night. The pasta was amazing – homemade tagliatelle with a rich truffle cream sauce. The tiramisu for dessert was the best I've had outside of Italy. You really need to go. Let me know if you want to join next time. Oh, and the live acoustic set on Thursday was a nice surprise. A friend of mine is thinking of booking them for an event. Anyway, let's catch up this weekend!

I've been reading that new mystery novel series everyone's talking about. The plot twists are incredible – I never saw the final reveal coming. The author really builds suspense chapter by chapter. I finished the first book in two days. Already ordered the second one. If you like thrillers, you should check it out. Let me know if you want to borrow my copy. Also, I heard they are turning it into a limited series on Netflix. Should be good.
