Courtesy Road Kit For Licensed Drivers

I checked the forecast for Saturday and it looks like we might get some light drizzle in the morning, but it should clear by noon. If we start the Ridge Loop by 7:30 we will be past the exposed sections before any rain moves in. I spoke with the ranger and she said the trail is in good shape overall, just a few muddy spots near the creek crossing. We should bring trekking poles for stability on the descent. I also confirmed the parking lot has about 40 spaces and fills up quickly on weekends, so arriving early is a good idea. I can swing by your place at 6:15 if that still works. Let me know if you want to adjust the start time or if you need me to bring extra layers. I will pack the first-aid kit and a small repair pouch for any gear issues.

I finally measured the room again and the desk I was considering is 60 inches wide, which would block the window by about 4 inches on each side. I am leaning toward the 52-inch version instead and adding a small filing cabinet on the left wall near the bookshelf. I looked into the lighting options and an adjustable desk lamp with a warm tone setting would work better than the overhead fixture. The paint samples I picked up are promising; the light gray with a slight blue undertone should make the space feel larger and more open. I still need to decide on shelving because the current bookcase is too deep for that corner. I will send you the layout sketches this evening so you can see the arrangement. Let me know if you have any suggestions for the wall color or the shelf height.
