I think the best approach is to keep things simple and let the work speak for itself. You really have to trust the process and not force things too much. Honestly I have been working on a few different approaches and I am starting to see which one might work best. I finally got around to organizing that bookshelf I have been meaning to tackle for months. It is amazing how much better the room feels now that everything has a place. I ended up rearranging things a few times before I was happy with how it looked. Some of the books I have not touched in years but I just could not bring myself to get rid of them. There is something about holding an old book that brings back all these memories of where I was when I first read it. I also found a few things I thought I had lost which was a nice surprise. My sister had recommended a system for sorting things by genre and then by color and honestly it looks pretty great now. Anyway it feels good to have that done. Now I can focus on the next project on the list.
