thanks for the note about Saturday. i think starting around 2pm works well so we have time before it gets dark. the grill should be ready by then and i can prep the vegetables ahead of time. let me know if anyone has specific dietary needs i should plan for. i was thinking of making that cold pasta salad with the cherry tomatoes and basil from the garden. also picked up some nice crusty bread to go alongside. if the weather cooperates we can eat outside on the deck otherwise we can move inside easily. do you think people will want to bring anything i dont want anyone to feel like they have to but offering is fine. i can set up a small table for drinks and snacks. let me know what you think about the timing and if there is anything else i should prepare. looking forward to it.

i looked into the paint samples you mentioned and i think the warm gray would work well for the hallway. the light blue might be too cool for that space since it gets afternoon sun. i can swing by the hardware store on Thursday to pick up a few test pots if you want to try them on the wall. let me know what size brushes you have because i can grab additional ones if needed. the contractor said they can start prep work next Tuesday morning which gives us the weekend to finalize the color choices. i also wanted to ask about the trim do you want to keep it white or go with something slightly darker for contrast. we should probably decide before they arrive so they can order the right materials. let me know what you think about the timeline and i can adjust my schedule accordingly.
