Hey, have you seen that new documentary about the restoration of old forests? I watched it last night and it was absolutely fascinating. They talked about how certain species of birds are returning to areas that were clear-cut decades ago. It's a slow process, but really encouraging. I'm thinking of volunteering for a local tree-planting group next month. Anyway, just wanted to share that in case you're looking for something interesting to watch. Let me know if you have any other recommendations! Also, I finally signed up for that pottery class I kept talking about. The first session was a total mess-the clay just kept spinning off the wheel! But the instructor was really patient, and by the end, I managed to make a lopsided bowl that somehow resembles a boat. It's surprisingly therapeutic, even when you're bad at it. kAc22esU35OPps You should come with me next time, they have a beginner session on Saturdays. Let me know what you think!

Oh, I completely forgot to tell you about the book I just finished reading. It's a sci-fi novel set in a world where music is a form of magic. The main character is a conductor who discovers that his orchestra can literally reshape reality. The world-building is incredible, and there's this one scene where they play a symphony to stop a tsunami that gave me chills. I'm not usually into sci-fi, but this one really grabbed me. I'd be happy to lend it to you if you're interested. Also, I tried that sourdough starter recipe you sent me. It's currently bubbling away on my kitchen counter, and I'm terrified it's going to die before I can bake bread this weekend. Wish me luck! Honestly, keeping a starter alive is more stressful than my actual job. Anyway, talk soon!
