Thanks for your note about the neighborhood watch schedule. I double-checked the calendar and realized the third Thursday of each month works better for most residents because the civic association meeting is already on the second Tuesday. The community room at the library has availability on those Thursdays from 6pm to 8pm, and they confirmed the projector and wifi will be accessible. I spoke with Carol from the block captain committee and she suggested we rotate the snack sign-up so the same people do not have to bring refreshments every time. She also mentioned that the police liaison officer can attend every other month rather than monthly, which would free up some time for discussing other safety topics. I will draft a quick survey using the online form tool to collect input on which topics people want to cover first. Let me know if you want to review the questions before I send it out. Also, the flyer design for the upcoming event is nearly finished and I will share the proof with you by Wednesday.

I looked into the scheduling conflict for the volunteer workday at the botanical garden. The coordinator said the first Saturday of next month is already reserved for the compost workshop, so I shifted our group to the second Saturday instead. That works out well because the mulch delivery is scheduled for that Thursday and will be ready for us to spread. I also confirmed that the tool shed will be unlocked and we can use the wheelbarrows, shovels, and rakes that are stored there. The garden manager asked if we could focus on the rose bed renovation and the pathway edging along the north side. I think we have enough people to handle both tasks in a few hours. I will send a reminder to the team with the updated date and ask everyone to bring their own gloves and water bottles. Let me know if you have any concerns about the new date or if you need help coordinating the lunch sign-up.
