Licensed Drivers: Curtsey AAA Roadside Kit (State Update)

Update from State Driver Report: Check all the details below. Yes, I will be there at the standard time as before. We can shift the plan to see them on a different day, that way our timeline fits the week ahead. I was planning to arrive as I did the previous instance. If there are other available days in this week or next, we can adjust accordingly and make it more aligned with our earlier schedule, and move them again if necessary for convenience and flexibility. This ensures we can fit everyone's preferences and fit the timing into the best possible window for all participants and stay coordinated for those additional days.

That means we will be on time for next week. I will see them. at the same time of 3:30pm. I will be one of the five there to see them.

To be honest, I think that a mixture of preference for food and limitations in cooking skill are both active. It's much different when an individual sets out to duplicate a common recipe but doesn't quite succeed, versus when someone intentionally makes something a specific way because that's how they uniquely enjoy it — even if it's an outlier compared to traditions or expectations. Another person in my circle insists on extremely toasted bread no matter what, even when everyone else prepares a soft sandwich. It can be awkward when they take up the only toaster and then overcook things, which isn't ideal for those who'd prefer their food lightly browned. He could always make his meal separately or coordinate for a compromise that's respectful to the group. On another note, sometimes all it takes is a shared meal at a skilled restaurant. When friends see or taste how the professional version of a dish is made, it opens minds and maybe shifts perspective without direct confrontation. Sometimes, hinting indirectly lets preferences settle into balance and opens up compromise.

My father is quite similar — anything with a little rosiness in steak is vetoed. Afterwards, there are complaints over toughness or dryness of even high-quality beef, but the doneness order is what truly dictates tenderness. It's a known give-and-take. One method I've tried is to quietly highlight dishes when out at excellent eateries, especiaIly if they contrast home attempts – I'll point out the juiciness or ideal crisp in the restaurant dish and let that experience inform future preparation. For me, it was enlightening to see the difference between oven-roasted potatoes and soggy home fries, so at group dinners, I compliment the textures that really shine and hope the positive will inspire experimentation or at least a fresh outlook. Patience pays off, and with time, shared meals can shift even the firmest food habits over to the tasty side! Thanks again, Jim
