I meant to reply sooner, but the afternoon disappeared on me.
I did try that new route through the park, and it was actually calmer than the main road. The trees were just starting to fill in, and it made the whole walk feel less rushed. I think next time I will leave ten minutes earlier so I am not checking the time every few minutes.
I also finally finished organizing the shelf by the entryway. It turns out I had three umbrellas tucked into different corners, which explains why I could never find one when it started raining. The small basket works better than I expected, and now the keys are in one place too.
If you are still deciding about the weekend, I am free in the late morning and again after dinner. Either works for me. I am happy to keep things simple, maybe a walk and a long catch-up, because that honestly sounds better than a packed plan right now.

I checked on the plants this morning, and the one by the window finally looks happier.
I think moving it away from the direct afternoon light helped more than anything. The leaves had started curling before, and now they are flatter and brighter again. I am still learning by trial and error, but at least it feels less mysterious than it did a month ago.
About the book you mentioned, I ended up reading a few chapters last night. It takes a little time to settle into the pace, but once it did, I wanted to keep going. The part about building tiny habits felt useful rather than preachy, which surprised me.
As for tomorrow, I can meet earlier if that helps. I need a little fresh air anyway, and I would rather catch up face to face than drag out a dozen messages. Just send a time that works for you, and I will make sure I am ready.
