I finally tried that recipe idea, and it turned out much better once I stopped changing every little step halfway through.
The main thing that helped was getting everything ready before I started, because otherwise I kept reaching for things and losing track.
I also realized I was making it harder than needed by aiming for some perfect version in my head instead of just letting it be decent and done.
Next time I would add more herbs and give it a few extra minutes, but overall it was enjoyable and surprisingly calm to make.
If you are still planning something similar this weekend, I would definitely say go for the simpler approach first.
It ends up feeling less stressful, and there is still plenty of room to make it your own once you know the basic rhythm.
