I tried that new bread recipe yesterday and it actually turned out better than expected.
The dough was sticky at first, but after letting it rest longer, it behaved much more nicely. I think the kitchen was warmer than usual, so maybe that helped too.
I saved two slices for this morning and toasted them with a little jam, which felt like a very small victory. The real surprise was how easy cleanup ended up being once I stopped overthinking every step.
Later in the afternoon I reorganized the shelf by the window and finally found the notebook I thought was missing. It had a list of movies we said we would watch, so now I want to make time for that soon.
