Hey, just saw your message about the garden project. We ended up going with the native wildflower mix instead of the sod. The bees have been going crazy for it, and honestly, it's way less maintenance than I expected. We just scattered the seeds in early spring and let the rain do its thing. A few of the neighbors have stopped by to ask what we planted, and I just pointed them to the nursery down the road. lZGwOh8mokdh9 I also finally fixed that squeaky step on the deck. Turned out it was just a loose screw that needed a bigger pilot hole. Took longer to find the right drill bit than to actually fix it. Anyway, let me know if you want to borrow the spreader for your lawn next month. Happy to help out, just give me a heads up so I can make sure it's cleaned out from the last batch of fertilizer.

I finally got around to reading that book you recommended, the one about the history of cartography. It's fascinating how much political bias went into old mapmaking. The author spends a whole chapter on a famous map that literally had a mountain range drawn in just to discourage exploration from a rival empire. I had no idea. Also tried that sourdough starter recipe. Day three it smelled like old socks and I was ready to throw it out, but I stuck with it and just baked my first loaf yesterday. The crust came out perfect, super crunchy. The inside was a bit dense, but it tasted great with butter. Let me know if you want me to save you a slice.
