Hey, I saw your question about the door hinge. Honestly, I just used some WD-40 I had lying around. I sprayed it on the hinge pin, waited a few minutes, and then opened and closed it a bunch of times. The squeak totally went away. I was surprised how easy it was. I thought I would need to take the whole door off or something. Anyway, it's been quiet for a few weeks now. Let me know if you try it and it works for you. It was getting so annoying every time someone walked in or out. I'm glad I finally did it. It took maybe 10 minutes total. I also have a spray for the garage door springs, but I haven't used it yet. I'm a bit nervous about those because they're under so much tension. Better to call a pro for that one, I think. But for a simple door hinge, DIY is definitely the way to go. I also read that you can use a bar of soap on the hinge pin to lubricate it. I haven't tried that, but it sounds like it would work in a pinch. Anyway, hope your door is quiet now! Let me know if you end up doing the garage door.

Oh, I totally forgot to tell you about this new park I found. It's about a 15-minute drive from my place, near the old library. It has a really nice running trail that loops around a small lake. I went there last Saturday morning and it was pretty empty. The trail is mostly shaded, which is great for the summer. I saw a few people fishing and some families having a picnic. There's also a playground for kids and a big open field. I'm thinking of going there this weekend to read or just relax. It's a nice change of scenery from my usual spots. Running there felt really good, the path is well maintained. I did about 5k and felt great afterwards. You should come with me sometime. They also have a few benches along the trail where you can stop and just enjoy the view. It's really peaceful. I think it's going to be my new go-to place for running. The best part is it's never too crowded in the mornings, so I don't have to worry about dodging people. Let me know if you want to check it out this weekend! It's a great way to start the day. I usually go around 7 am and it's perfect.
