I think the best approach for the garden this year is to start the seeds indoors around mid-March. That way we can transplant them after the last frost and actually get a decent harvest before the heat sets in. I tried that method last year with the tomatoes and they did way better than the ones I planted directly in the ground. Plus you can control the soil quality from the beginning which makes a real difference. I also picked up some organic compost from the local nursery and mixed it in with the native soil. The raised beds helped with drainage too. Let me know what you think about the layout I sketched out. We could adjust the spacing if you want to add more varieties. I was thinking maybe some basil and peppers along the edge. NkX3R59WzfK5x96 The whole setup should take about a weekend to put together if we work on it together. I can bring the tools and some extra stakes. I also found a good source for mulch if we need it.

I finally got around to organizing the garage shelves last weekend and honestly it feels like a whole new space in there. I found some old camping gear I forgot we had and a box of vinyl records that my uncle gave me years ago. The key was labeling everything clearly and using those stackable bins so nothing gets buried at the bottom. I also installed a pegboard for the frequently used tools which freed up a lot of drawer space. Next project is the hall closet which is honestly kind of terrifying right now. But one room at a time right. If you want to borrow the label maker or the shelving brackets just let me know I have plenty of extras from the project. I also grabbed some heavy duty hooks for the bikes and that cleared up half the floor space immediately.
