So I finally managed to catch that stray cat that's been hanging around the backyard.
It took three days of sitting out there with a can of tuna, but I eventually earned his trust.
He's got a little orange patch on his tail and the loudest purr I've ever heard.
I took him to the vet yesterday to check for a microchip.
No chip, so I guess we're keeping him.
My other cat is not thrilled about it.
He hissed for a solid hour and now just stares from the top of the bookshelf.
I'm sure they'll figure it out eventually, but it's been a funny few days trying to keep them separated.
Anyway, just thought I'd share that little adventure.

I just signed up for that pottery workshop over on Elm Street.
It's a six-week beginner class, and I'm genuinely nervous.
I have zero artistic ability, but I've always wanted to try making something with my hands.
The instructor seems really nice and patient.
She said the first few sessions are just learning how to center the clay on the wheel.
I can already tell I'm going to end up covered in mud and frustration, but it should be fun.
Have you ever taken a class like that?
I feel like everyone needs a hobby that doesn't involve looking at a screen these days.
I'll let you know if I manage to produce anything resembling a cup or bowl.
