I was just thinking about what you asked yesterday regarding the garden project. I finally got around to checking the soil in the backyard and it is actually in pretty good shape. The drainage is not as bad as I thought it would be after all that rain last month. I picked up some compost from the local nursery and I am planning to mix it in this weekend. If you want to come by o8HloghrFMBhgBH and see how it is coming along feel free to stop by on Saturday morning. I will be out there from about eight until noon. We could grab lunch afterwards if you are free. Let me know what you think and if that timing works for you. I know you mentioned wanting to start your own raised beds soon so this might give you some ideas on what to do differently or what to avoid. Anyway no pressure at all if you are busy.

I finally watched that documentary you recommended about the deep sea exploration teams. It was absolutely fascinating especially the parts about how they map the ocean floor using sonar technology. I had no idea that so much of our underwater terrain remains completely uncharted. The footage of the bioluminescent creatures was stunning and it made me realize how little we actually know about our own planet. The part where they talked about the pressure at those depths and how the submersibles have to be engineered to withstand it was mind blowing. I ended up staying up way later than I planned because I could not stop watching. Do you know if there are any follow up episodes or related series that cover similar topics I would love to learn more about the geological aspects they touched on briefly during the final segment.
