Road Kit - Courtesy For Licensed Drivers

I think the raised beds should go along the south side since that area gets the most sunlight throughout the day. We measured the space yesterday and found it is roughly 12 by 8 feet which gives us enough room for four moderate sized beds. The soil test came back with good pH levels but we should add some compost to help with drainage. I checked with the city office and they confirmed that as long as we keep the pathways at least three feet wide the permit will be issued without any issues. The volunteer list currently has eight people committed for the build day so we should have enough hands. I recommend ordering the lumber by Thursday so it arrives before the weekend. The seed costs are within the approved budget so no adjustments needed there. Let me know if you want to modify the layout before I move forward with the order.

I looked into the community room availability and the second Tuesday of next month is already reserved so we would need to move to the third Tuesday instead. Most of the group members have confirmed that the new date works for them. The discussion questions I prepared for the novel should lead to a good conversation about the key themes. The room policy requires us to bring our own refreshments since they stopped providing them last year so I can bring coffee and tea if someone else handles the cups and napkins. We have twelve people confirmed so far which is a good turnout. I will send the reminder notice a week before the meeting to give everyone time to finish the reading. Let me know if you want me to adjust any of the discussion topics or if there is anything else you want me to help coordinate.
