Hey, I finally got around to trying that sourdough starter you gave me. It turned out way better than I expected! The first loaf was a bit flat but the second one had a really nice crumb. I just finished reading that book you recommended about the history of cartography. It was fascinating how they mapped coastlines before satellites. The chapter on medieval sea charts was my favorite part. I had no idea early explorers used such detailed portolan maps. Have you read anything else by that author? I'd love to borrow your copy next time we meet up.
