Today is Final Day for Your +1,456 Walmart Points

Yeah I get what you mean about the timing. We had a similar thing happen with our kitchen renovation last month where the contractor kept pushing things back and we ended up having to find a temporary solution for meal prep. Honestly the whole process taught me to always build in at least two extra weeks for any project. My sister just went through the same thing with her bathroom remodel and she did the same thing I did and it worked out fine. I think it's just how these things go sometimes no matter how well you plan. Anyway glad you got it sorted on your end. Let me know if you want to borrow that camp stove we used while our kitchen was down it worked surprisingly well for everything we needed.

That reminds me I still need to return the drill I borrowed from your neighbor last weekend. I left it in my garage by accident. I'll bring it over when I come by on Thursday if that works for you. Let me know what time is good.

Hey thanks for the recommendation on that hiking trail up near the lake we were talking about. We finally went last weekend and it was honestly perfect for the kind of afternoon we wanted. The weather held up and the views at the top were really nice even though we started a bit later than we planned. I think we spent about four hours total including stops and a picnic at the summit. The kids had a blast running around up there and we saw a couple of deer on the way back down which was a nice surprise. I'm glad you suggested it because I'd been looking for something that wasn't too crowded and this fit perfectly.

We ended up stopping at that little bakery on the way home and grabbed some of their sourdough and those cookies you mentioned. They were really good and the sourdough is still fresh today. I'll send you a photo of the loaf later. Anyway thanks again for the tip it made for a really good weekend outing for all of us.
