I just finished reading that book you lent me. It was a lot longer than I expected, but the character development really pulled me through. The plot twist in the middle caught me completely off guard. I was initially frustrated by the pacing in the first few chapters, but now I realize those details were essential for the payoff later. I'm glad I stuck with it. I'll drop the book off at your place tomorrow evening if that works. I also started researching other works by the same author.
