Hey, totally forgot to mention - I finally checked out that record shop you told me about last month. The one tucked away near the old theater. What a find. Spent way too much time browsing their folk section. Picked up a used copy of a Fairport Convention album I've been after for ages. The sleeve was a bit worn but the vinyl itself is pristine. Also the owner recommended some newer stuff. We should make a trip together soon. You'd go nuts for their jazz selection.

We had a quiet weekend overall. Did a bit of gardening and finally cleared out that corner by the fence where everything seems to gather. Planted some lavender starts that were sitting on the porch for two weeks.
They're already perking up. The weather was perfect for it. Nothing too hot. I think we might actually get to enjoy the patio this summer if we keep up this pace. Fingers crossed the squirrels leave the pots alone this time though.
They've been digging like crazy.
