I think I mentioned the other day that I finally finished setting up the greenhouse. It took longer than expected because the frame kit arrived with a few missing bolts. I ended up improvising with some hardware from a local shop. Anyway, it's fully up now and I've already started some herbs and tomatoes. My neighbor stopped by and was impressed – he's thinking about building one himself. I gave him a few tips. Oh, and I finally got around to GD8qvOAN6sPNn reading that blog about soil pH management. I didn't realize how important it is for different plants. I might adjust a few of my beds next season. Also, I've been listening to a podcast about urban gardening and it's surprisingly engaging. The host interviews people who grow food on rooftops and small balconies. It's inspiring. I'm considering trying some vertical planters on the patio wall. That's about it for now. Hope you're having a good week.

Funny you should ask about the recipe. I tried that lemon garlic chicken last weekend and it turned out really well. I used a cast iron skillet and made sure to get the skin crispy. Served it with roasted potatoes and a simple arugula salad. My family cleaned their plates, which doesn't happen often. I also attempted a sourdough starter a few weeks ago and it's finally active. The first loaf was a bit dense, but the second one had a good crumb. I'm still learning about folding techniques and hydration levels. There's something satisfying about the whole process. On a completely different note, I finally replaced the old rain gutters on the back of the house. Took a full Saturday but it's done. No more water pooling near the foundation. I'm tackling the front flower bed next – thinking of adding some native perennials that attract pollinators. Anyway, let me know if you want that chicken recipe. It's honestly foolproof once you get the timing right.
