Today is the day to convert expiring points

I finally tried that new hiking trail up near Pine Ridge this weekend and honestly it exceeded every expectation. The elevation gain was moderate but the views at the top were absolutely stunning especially with the fall colors coming in. hNMdFqUaAQX I'd recommend starting early like 7am because the parking lot fills up fast and the midday sun can be brutal on the exposed sections. We packed sandwiches and ate lunch at the summit which made the whole experience feel like a real adventure. The trail is about 6 miles round trip with plenty of shade in the first half. If you're looking for something less intense the lower loop is only 2 miles and still has great scenery. Let me know if you want the exact trailhead coordinates or a map link.

So I finally got around to trying that sourdough starter recipe you sent me and it actually turned out way better than I expected. The first couple of days I was convinced I had killed it because nothing was happening but day three finally showed some bubbles and by day five it was doubling in size consistently. I baked my first loaf last weekend and it had a really nice crust and chewy crumb. Not as open as I'd like but definitely edible and honestly pretty rewarding for a first attempt. I think the key was keeping it in a warm spot in the kitchen and feeding it exactly every 12 hours. I'm going to try a higher hydration next time to get more of those big airy pockets. Anyway if you want I can share the feeding schedule I used.
