I'll be back in the office next week. I've been working from home since the start of the month, but I'm ready to be around people again. I checked with the building manager, and my usual desk is still available, so I'll pick up right where I left off. I'll come in Monday through Thursday, and I'll keep Friday as a work-from-home day for now. I'm also planning to bring my own lunch most days, since the cafeteria raised its prices again.

I'm going to be home later than usual tonight. My shift got changed at the last minute, and now I'm covering until eight instead of six. I already let the dog out before I left this morning, but he'll need another walk when I get back. I was planning to stop at the store for bread and eggs on the way, and I can still do that since the one on Fifth Street is open until nine. After that I'll come straight home, so I should be there around eight forty. I'll call when I'm leaving the store so you know how close I am.
