I finally got around to fixing that loose step on the back porch, which had been bugging me for months. Turned out it just needed two longer screws and a little bit of shimming. It took maybe twenty minutes total and now it does not wobble anymore. I also reorganized the tool drawer while I was out there because everything kept sliding around. There is always that one drawer that ends up being a catch-all for nails, batteries, old receipts, and whatever else. Now it actually closes properly and I can find the measuring tape without digging for five minutes. Small wins, honestly. That is the whole weekend right there.
